America's Funniest Home Videos Season 9 aired from January 5, 1998 to May 7, 1998. Beginning with this season, Daisy Fuentes and John Fugelsang took over as hosts. Episodes 7 and 8 were the first to air, as it aired as part of a TGIF sneak peek on November 21, 1997. The entire season started broadcasting normally that January. The set and logo had changed.
